Casa Playa is a ground-floor, ocean-front villa located within the beach community of Hacienda de Mita and "Inside the Gate" of the exclusive Punta Mita resort. Bright, airy and modern, Casa Playa recently underwent a major remodel with finishes and furnishings in a tasteful blend of Nueva Mexicana and casual beach styles. All appliances, air conditioning, electrical and plumbing fixtures were replaced, upgraded or modernized to ensure a comfortable and reliable vacation environment.
Ground Floor
As a benefit of being on the ground floor, a full width sliding glass wall opens directly to the newly constructed pool, the sandy beach of El Anclote and the Bay of Banderas, connecting nearly four thousand square feet of luxurious private indoor and outdoor living space. And the quaint town of Corral del Risco, with its beach-front restaurants and shops, is less than a five-minute walk away through Hacienda de Mita's security-monitored pedestrian gate.

Just pack bathing suits, shorts, tropical shirts, tops and slaps - you're living at the beach! Combine that attire with bright, functionally modern home features and playful artistic elements and you have the definition of comfortably casual. Lounge in custom, hand-crafted furniture of native woods surrounded by paintings and carvings from local artisans and you are in total relax mode.

Having recently undergone a major remodel, Casa Playa is a blend of 'Classic Mexico' and 'Beach Casual' finishes and decor. The two ensuite Masters, double bed and bunk room comfortably accommodate up to six adults and two children. The professional kitchen with island seating for 4, two 8-seat dinning areas - indoor and outdoor - living room and dedicated office space combine for nearly 4,000 sf of comfortable indoor and outdoor living.

Casa Playa stays include a Premier Golf Membership, which allows our guests to book tee times, use the driving range and take lessons. There are two Jack Nicklaus Signature championship courses – Bahia and Pacifico – and the famous 'Tail of the Whale' Par 3 Island Hole. Also included with this membership is access to all court sports, fitness center and the restaurants inside the gate. Our concierge staff can assist you in booking tees times and court reservations prior to your arrival.

Daily Breakfast Preparation
Your stay includes your own golf cart - 4 or 6 passenger depending on the number of registered guests - which will allow you to get to all the amenities 'Inside the Gate' of Punta Mita's 1,500 acres. Additionally, golf carts can be used outside the gate to drive to the restaurants and shops in the local town of Corral del Risco. If you need an additional golf cart, please book this through our concierge staff well in advance of your trip as carts are always in high demand.

Breakfast preparation made from your personal menu is included in your stay. And be sure to ask for the house-specialty breakfast treat - Vicky's corn muffins! Groceries for breakfast and other meals or snacks can be ordered and delivered prior to your arrival. If you would like to add beach snacks, lunches, fresh guacamole & salsa, chef-prepared dinners or restaurant reservations, our concierge staff can also arrange for this prior to your arrival.

New for 2026, the "minimum" food and beverage requirement has been replaced by a one-time per person fee that allows unlimited access to all five Punta Mita beach clubs, making multiple trips family-friendly. This fee will be part of your reservation paperwork with beach club access automatically authorized with your Punta Mita IDs.
NOTE: All the beach clubs require current valid Punta Mita IDs, so please remember to bring those with you.

With its unobstructed views of the bay, mountains and city lights of Puerto Vallarta, Casa Playa is only steps to the expansive sandy beach of El Anclote where surfing, stand-up paddling, snorkeling and swimming are all right there in your backyard. With only a handful of ground-floor villas, demand is high so book well ahead of your trip.
A dedicated pool is immediately in front of the patio so a watchful eye can be kept on the children playing in the shallow end. Or maybe it's your turn to take laps in the deep end. Make your way past the pool and down a few steps and the warm sands of El Anclote beach welcome you to the Bay of Banderas where the surf awaits and whales breach, each with its own display of power and beauty.
The quaint town of Corral del Risco, with its numerous restaurants, grocery stores and shops, is less than a five-minute walk from Casa Playa out the video-monitored pedestrian gate.
A golf cart is included in your stay so you can explore all the fabulous beach clubs, head over to the court sports facility, fitness center or golf courses as well as taking in the world-class Four Seasons and St. Regis resorts, all of which are only a short golf cart ride away from Casa Playa.
